Dalaran

Dalaran is a capital of the Alliance and Horde. It was the dwelling of the Kirin Tor, as well as the only capital city in Northrend. It was located in the center of Crystalong Forest, Northrend, in sight of Icecrown Citadel.

During the fall of Theramore, the leader of the Kirin Tor, Rhonin, sacrificed himself and namedJaina Proudmoore the new leader of the Kirin Tor. During the Pandaria Campaign, Dalaran was moved above Pandaria, and Jaina cast out all Horde members from the city.

During the Burning Legion's third and largest invasion of Azeroth, Dalaran moved above Karazhan in Deadwind Pass to protect the Eastern Kingdoms from the Burning Legion, following the chaotic battle at the Broken Shore. During this time, the Council of Six voted to let the Horde back in Dalaran, causing Jaina to leave in anger. Khadgar became the new leader of the Kirin Tor and ruler of Dalaran. The city was later moved above Azsuna in the Broken Isles, near the Tomb of Sargeras, and acted as a capital city for the Alliance and Horde once more.
